Tanjirou is nurturing,giving&endlessly kind in a way that's almost...motherly?But it also balances his boyish nature?He's a bimbo kind of; strong,kind&simple-minded.I thought he would be another generic shounen MC but I can't drop the impression that he loves in a way that's really mothering;providing protection,comfort,support,safety,love.Even though he has that "pursuit of overwhelming power" trope that typical MCs do,he never actually gets OP

He's here on this list cuz he just has a very distinctive personality from the typical shounen MC. He's unsociable, quiet or says what he needs to say and nothing more, but caring and sensitive.
Again, a distinctive personality and doesn't have that trope of "endless pursuit of overwhelming power" the way other shounen mcs do in their plots.
