I was worried this would be the umpteent rape kink captivity angst fest. I was pleasantly surprised.

I liked it. It is messy af, but in a believable way. The characters are not good people. They are complex, selfish, and very flawed. The uke has an affair with a married man, and is desperate to be wanted back. The seme is a class A fuckboy, who gets bored after every conquest, who develops an unhealthy obsession with the uke.
