Considering my profile picture is of Jaerim from this manhwa, I highly doubt I need say much more about why I love it. Though I'd love it to be yaoi, it's sadly only Shounen Ai, but considering the plot is brilliant, translation is equally as great, characters are loveable (in the sense that you want to punch them and also hug them at the same time) it's a for-certain read. There are enough chapters to keep you reading for a couple days straight !
Holy shit
So this was an absolute fucking read and I would recommend this to anyone who likes a STAGGERING storyline that'll mess you up. I'm not usually into yuri, but I'm familiar with heavy plots, so this was a pretty brilliant opening to reading Yuri?? I'd say this was EXTREMELY close to being my number one on the list, but my favourite boys Jaerim and Yuri sllliiightly come above Yeonwha and Ayeon. Sorry girls!!
Currently my life source. This, unlike the first two, is a yaoi! So there'll be BL! :D but this holds a dear place in my heart as the artstyle is adorable, but it also inspired me to learn sign language! The main character gives me major second hand embarrassment, but the boys are so loveable and quirky, it's easy to power through the unbearably-cringy scenes.
This shit is pheonomenal. I read it in one whole sitting and was a changed person. Not only is the plot SO gripping, you don't even care for the romance, but when the romance comes it only gets better. This Shounen Ai is not afraid of character death, victory for the protagonist, failure, flaws and incredibly brilliant story-telling. This story covers a few heavy topics, explicit content yet has stunning art. This manwha is sure to blow you away and leave you in the purest sense of awe.
This. Manhwa. is. so. frustrating!!
Being easily connected to the characters from the get-go, it makes you want to see their relationship thrive, however, these boys find it much harder than that. The art is truly second to none, and considering it's full-colour, it's just a treat to read.
While the main plot of this manhwa has already ended, 'Mum' (the author) continues to give us side-stories to please our little bellies for Gin and Rum. As a sucker for art styles in yaoi, I must say; it's possibly one of the nicest I've seen - close to the quality of blood bank, if not better. Plot-wise, this can be a little confusing to follow, but as long as you don't mind this, and in later chapters the poorer quality of the pictures, then read it!
If you're looking for the purest Shounen Ai in the world, here it is my friends. Dasadanan, albeit the name is confusing, will physically warm your heart with how fluffy and soft this shit is. There are three couples the manwha focuses on, and you love each more and more as the story continues. The thing I love so wholeheartedly about this is; it doesn't frustrate you! A problem a character has isn't dragged on, and the characters are very straight-to-the-point.
Blood bank was one of the first yaoi I read on mangago as a reccomendation from a friend, and here I am, making a top 24 list of my favourite yaoi manga. To this day, bloodbank is one of the prettiest, kinkiest (even though it's somewhat tame) and plot-filled mangas I've ever read. The concept is extremely interesting.
