Angst and Painful

This is a story about a woman getting revenge on her cheating ex and his family. I personally have a love-hate relationship with it as the revenge is great but it hurts to see the FL believe so little in herself… I hope the ML is not an asshole… ;(

A lot of misunderstandings and the uke is a little infuriating in that he keeps thinking about the worst possible scenario and always ends up being rescued by the seme. I liked it a lot in the beginning but I’m not sure now…

There are mentions of suicide and self harm. The uke has a very heavy responsibility for his age and the seme does not help. I was rooting for the seme at first but damn… he’s kind of an asshole.

ML is an absolute ass. FL deserves so much better

What I thought would be a nice historical romance turned out to be so much more. Both ML and FL have character development but there is a lot of ANGST! Lies upon lies upon lies ;(
