"Set on the Silk Road that connected Asia with Europe before the modern times. This story starts off with Amir, a woman skilled in archery and horsemanship, sent to marry Karluk, a boy from another village who is 8 years younger than her."
10/10
Now the age gap may set off many people as Amir is 20 years old but it isn't what it seems. It's another seinin that I thoroughly enjoy. It sets marriage in the late 1850's early 1860's in a positive light which is rare
"In ancient(?) China, a young apothecary is kidnapped to work as a servant in the imperial court. as rumors circulate about the emperor's children's lives being short-lived. Her curious nature and thirst for knowledge pushes her to action. To satisfy her curiosity, this young doctor/pharmacist will investigate the origin! What is shifting in the imperial court..!?"

I love this so much it's just so interesting. Plus there might be a plot B romance blossoming???
"Shevon is a writer who lives in a run-down apartment in the streets of the slums. One day, strange memos start showing up at his front door. Before he can uncover the mystery behind them, he encounters a beautiful young man that keeps peeling onions on the staircase next to his unit. After accepting a dinner invitation from the young man, Shevon discovers a dead body in his host’s bedroom..."

I only feel pain. I have been avoiding this series for months... (read it tho)
"A boy becomes enamored with Ribbon (rhythmic gymnastics) after seeing a young woman dancing by a shrine one evening. Years later, he steps onto the mat for a Ribbon competition. Everyone is shocked to see a boy trying to compete. Can he get past the stigma and dance on equal footing?"
10/10
Holy shit why is this so beautiful *sobs*
"A slice-of-life about a woman told from the perspective of a cat"
9/10
A biased review because I love Yamaguchi Tsubasa's artwork. I would categorize this as seinen. The story is definitely slow and pretty uneventful for most but it's a very beautiful story in my opinion.
"A slice-of-life about two high school girls going about daily life but something is... off..."
9/10
This was really good and that's mainly because of my bias towards Asano Inio-sensei. I wish there was a part removed from the ending. After reading Goodnight Punpun, I think Asano-sensei just likes happy endings.
"As a "love appraiser", she helps wives "verify" their husbands' sincerity as "the other woman". With her heaven-sent appearance and career mission to undermine the feelings of others, is what she does guard "true love" or just destroying it? Is she breaking through lies or creating tragedies?"
9/10
A rare webtoon that I feel properly captures humans. It does fall into gender roles which I do not believe exist
"Suffering from internalized homophobia, Tasuku Kaname tries to convince everyone that he is not gay. That is until he sees a woman jump out of a window. Terrified he runs over only to find a lounge run by said woman who is completely unscathed. A story that follow self acceptance"
9/10
I couldn't fit the the entire synopsis properly because of the word limit but trust me, this story is BEAUTIFUL
"A slice of life about an all girl's school but the roles are replaced by boys!"
9/10
It's really funny and cute and all the boys are (>///<)
The ending was a bit plain...
"A true story about a Japanese gay activist of his life from childhood leading up to the day he married his husband"
8/10
It feels weird to see this tagged as "shounen ai" because while, yes, it technically is, I usually associate that tag with fluffy fiction. This, on the other hand, is a story filled with real raw pain. Idk it feels weird.
