thanks for this list!! I appreciate that it's largely manga! maybe this is controversial but I feel like there's a lot of BL manhwa/webtoon (and even manhua) slop out there these days. these days, I prefer looking for japanese manga because I feel like they tend to be better on average. not that there aren't good BL webtoons out there (because there definitely are), but there are also an endless pool of mid/bad ones getting churned out all the time

I knew I recognised ur pfp ur lists are cool :) I definitely feel you and agree that there's amazing manhwa/webtoon BL but there are so many appalling ones that romanticise rape and other problematic tropes these days which are are all mixed in and rated so highly on this site. Manga BL is definitely not innocent of these tropes but they're often not rated highly like 9.0+ thank god and the ones that are 9.0+ can be phenomenal and I generally prefer. For manhwa even the 9.3+ reads frequently include rape and other problematic tropes which is a shame and discourages me from seeking them out sometimes
