this is a student life kind of romance, which im okay with however, if youve watched the anime and come for the cute cuddly romance that was depicted, the manga is a bit more dark. the characters just have some type of unfortunate situation that escalates the story into chaos. it may be a bit overwhelming for some? its a school student x student trope, clumsy/cheerful girl x mysterious serious boy trope, love square trope? (the serious boy vs cuddly boy). frustrating fl and every ml tbh

all though this one is a teeney bit like ushy-ish, still a classic fav of mine. it has like enemies to lovers trope a LITTLE, "no boys" trope, nerd(ish?) and popular boy trope, etc. also is themed around a maid cafe and school life. it has an anime adaption, which i def recommend, since i found out abt maid-sama thru the anime.

its a pretty good book, the only thing is that the entire plot is kind of fake bc of the weird circumstances they're in, and also very frustrating ml. by weird circumstances i mean he breaks into her house and all of a sudden she just lets this stranger be her houseworker?? anyways its a like serious x serious type, breaking generics trope (idk what the name is but fl is the worker and ml is the household). slowburn and VERY frustrating ml.

okay im not that much into like sappy stuff but this book is sooo cute. its a poor/average x rich trope, ceo trope, marriage trope, baby?? trope(?). the ml and fl arent annoying, and their relationship gets healthier/more open as they progress. happy couple and happy story.

another cute little read about an employee and boss. this ones very like cutesy and ushy gushy, so if ur looking for a mood booster or just something to giggle weirdly at ur screen for this is a good one. employee x boss trope, ceo trope, marriage trope.

love the manga, love the anime. this is such an adorable read about a gorgeous girl who struggles with social anxiety and an almost insignificant ml who helps her and understands her. their duo is rlly cute together, esp in the anime. i think if u like yor & loid (spyxfamily), you'll like them. this is student x student, silent vs talkative(ish), popular & outcast tropes.

im sure everyones heard of kaguya sama at least once. kaguya sama is a comedy yet cute romance about 2 serious student council members waging war to get each other to confess. one thing is that nearing the end (as of now which is like 200ish), it gets a bit less comedy and more sad/tragic but not like traumatic tragic. very cute anime too, which is where i found this manga from. its an (kinda) enemies to lovers, serious but really shy, student x student trope.

inso’s law is an isekai however the plot is all derived in a realistic world so i think its just more realistic romance? its a shoujo/2 male lead situation but shes surrounded by handsome/pretty friends. i think its a fun bubbly book to read for some, but i did drop this book after a while because the romance was getting dragged on for so long. i still liked the book when i read it though, which is why im putting it in the list. its a student x student, normal x popular/handsome trop

i recently picked this up again and enjoyed it pretty well. the characters r really lovable and u grow onto them easily. the only thing is that there really isnt a conflict or main plot point besides miyamura’s glowup/change (not rlly a spoiler since it happens like in the first 5 chapters). the romance is also a bit rushed but it is a cute relationship. this is student x student, popular x quiet/outcast, etc.
this one tbh is a little so/so. i love the message and plot/character development of this story. its really good and would love this sm more if the artstyle was more my style? still amazing tho. its about an "ugly" girl who pretends to be a pretty girl online (kinda like true beauty) but instead of the runon 900 chapters of true beauty, she actually like improves herself.
