Epic story! Some may avoid this because of the art. Most of sensei's works are pretty old, but they are good stories: I think they are a great contribution to shoujo category. Certainly, From far away is a masterpiece!

The feels! This is one of those stories which gave me an emotional attachment...a story I'll never forget! It's a great fantasy tale with an amazing plot! The setting is fascinating: there are two countries that have been at war for 200 years; royalty; sub-people/ajins (half-humans, half-animals) and intriguing special power. «☘୧୨☘» Well, I must admit that the ending left me a bit disappointed...like, it left me hanging and wanting more! So, while I was eager to read one volume after another, the ending gave me mixed feelings. That's why I gave it 4 stars in the end. Still, I can't condemn the whole story because of that, as it was really good and I still loved it! It still was a great story! An intense and engrossing story that, like I said, made me rush into reading to see how it would continue.
