"Won the 24th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in Short Work category
A compilation of short stories about weird high schoolers by Wayama Yama revised along with an original sequel over 30 pages long."
My first introduction to this author, now one of my all time faves. I would kill for a new manga from her
Kageyama Shigeo (a.k.a. "Mob") is a 8th grader with psychic abilities. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age, but he slowly began to withhold from using his abilities in public due to the negative attention he kept receiving. Now, the only thing he wants is to become friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic "mentor" (who has no psychic powers)
My fav for ever and ever. Has left a gaping hole no other anime will be able to fil
"Based off of a story arc from Osamu Tezuka's Tesuwan Atomu, Pluto follows the Europol detective Gesicht as he tries to uncover the mystery behind a string of robot and human deaths. The case becomes much more puzzling when evidence leans toward the murders being the work of a robot, which is something that hasn't happened for 8 years."
Urusawa my king. One of his more underated works, no cap. I love my robot scientists, robo detectives, and small robo child
Kunou Totonou is a perceptive college student who's often forced to think his way out of dangerous situations.
The story starts with the police questioning him on suspicion of murdering his classmate.
A true masterpiece. No other mystery manga like this, its the best at introspection and philosophy
Ingan Kim, a normal human man, suffers an unfortunate fate of having to work as a teacher in Hell's Phantom High, where spirits and monsters are students. His only chance at survival is an elixir he uses to hide his human scent. If his students ever find out that he is human, he will be done for.
I'm addicted to this. I love all the characters and the action is great. Plus side, I love Z and Drac's brotherly relationship
A 4koma gag series that transforms into a slice of life school comedy about 5 junior high school boys & their guardians, mixed with some shady mafia mystery.
Been reading this since I was 14. Never dropped it, because the character development and progression is waaaay too good.
Humanity has been oppressed for hundreds of years due to the rise and invasion of the natural enemy "demons". The world was ruled by the "Great Demon Lord" and his 47 "Demon Lords". While people live in fear, 47 people selected from all over the world have been named "Heroes" and are preparing to fight against the Demon King's army.
ONE SENSEIIIIIIII returning with another bangerrr
"A man who is down on his luck sems to think that he is being called by the mysterious symbol that he sees. What could it be?"
Once again, another masterpiece from Naoki Urusawa. As someone who's watched Osomatsu, I cant believe HE was the one who wrote this manga.... and it was so damn good im still reeling.
"Known for "Muchuu sa, Kimi ni", Wayama’s first serialization in a commercial magazine is a comedy set in an all-girls school about a Japanese language teacher, Hoshi-sensei, and the carefree play that his students involve him in."
This manga lives in my brain rent free and I physically NEED more updates
Muchuu sa, Kimi ni.
