arguably my favourite gl if i ever had to choose one. It's so cute, but its realistic in many ways and has a favourable amount of angst as well. I cant describe how much I love the way their feelings are explored, and in some ways I related a lot to yuu but touko as well. there's a reason this is one of many gls with anime adaptations!! SO CUTEEE
I dont read many bl's, and yes I did start reading this because I heard that it had some gl in it, however that didn't end up being my main focus. touma and taichi's journey together was so meaningful to me, childhood friends to lovers with a tinge of angst. and don't even get me started on my girl masumi, who I related to a LOT. I was a little sad about the end at first, but they were all happy. this just explores highschool queer romance in such a deep and emotional way
Still ongoing, but I've been keeping up with it ever since its 2nd chapter on twitter and I'm so proud of what its become! Its a cute and fluff highschool gl and their interests center around music, which is part of the reason why i love this so much.
this is the historical gl of all of them, this is THE blueprint, she is that girl. this actually doesnt have an abrupt ending, its angsty, they got me kicking my feet, and it's very well-paced (which unfortunately a lot of historical gls lack rip..) and it touches a lot on how women are treated like in a patriarchy.
oh gosh first of all i absolutely adore the art style, its so cute but theyre still attractive. there is a lot of deep but very realistic themes within this, and their development was amazing and yet again well-paced throughout the story. I kin the both of them in ways, and they seriously got me feeling lonely HAHAHA
again, beautifully realistic! i love how the author doesn't sugarcoat the abuse that happens, and how it touches on that situationship phase a lot of girls go through with each other; in connection to how fluid gender preferences can be. the two leads are adorable and deserve the most. definitely one of my most reread because of how short and sweet it is.
currently ongoing, however this is genuinely the cutest thing ive ever read I think it ALMOST if not does, dethrone bloom into you as being my favourite sapphic manga. Not only is the trope unique and cute, its realistic and extremely psychologically sensitive as well. I can tell the author has done their fair research on deaf people. PLUS, SAKI IS SO ME. 10/10 so far, im excited to see where this leads!
