i removed mnss and regina cuz even though i liked the first one story wise, i don't think she fits the "strong woman" category much (atleast not as much as others) and for the regina rena one.. ugh im so sorry but she was so damn embarrassing and all she got was brawns and no brains ╥﹏╥ i especially made this list because i hate stupid, too naive fls and she's actually one of these characters (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Yeah i noticed that a little late(*￣ー￣) my bad. The other two are kinda similar in having cross dressing fmc but definitely worth it.

Irregular empress is one of the first manhwa i read. Fmc here is independent and strong knight then meets the ml. I love the ml too unlike typical ones he is very supportive in a good but not the 'i have all power' sense. Don't wanna spoil any but it still a guilty pleasure of mine(>ω<)

While i love our cute adorable youngest rubian (even read the novel for her), she is a child (like act as actual one of age not adult in child body case) currently but still so determined smart and one of the best child fmc i read that don't make op child with adult mind
(A new one so not many ch out yet in manhwa might wanna read the novel)

just finished "youngest has many secrets" and it was fabulous!! i love the fact that mc is such a cute kid and not just some creepy old woman, and i also love found family trope (especially so when elders don't straight up ignore the other children), so it just won my heart. looks like i have to read the novel as you said (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ i'm pretty sure irregular empress is good too, so i can't wait to start reading it. but why is it a guilty pleasure tho? (iLOVE guilty pleasures).

I have strange affection for it maybe because of it being my entry point into this fabulous world. It also have such cliche yet unique plot that just makes sense. I get where you're coming from. These stories were mediocore in beginning and they kind of stretched that. But improvement is there in latest seasons, the plot is finally beginning to thicken.

Nonetheless they do have strongheaded mothers as mc and many people love such stories hence the ratings.
Overall worth a try to recommend from my side but its totally okay if you don't like them(^_^)v
