this one had me full on spinning around trying to figure out the ending. i kept losing hope and gaining it again but it was worth it in the end fs. realistic imperfect characters, heavy material at points no sex scenes. the kid looks like ponyo a tiby bit or a frog. he is bordering on hideous but manages 2 be cute lmao

complex and not romance,, ton of nuance and all that. the characters r treated w care and the last few sentences are so damn fuckin beautiful

this one really caught me off guard with how much i enjoyed it. mc is just the most incredible amazing man and the impact he manages to have on the lives of everyone around him left me crying throughout. no one is an irredeemable character(except maybe youngest son's coworker. fuck that guy) , theres beauty to be found everywhere. shit this one messed me up

this one is funny, i enjoy the big brother dynamic a lot. plots are all the typical cliches but they do it well and the art is pretty nice. no ramance at all but doesnt suffer for it.

bull SHIT. this is a lie its amazing, the cutest ever wtf. the art is extremely pretty and i was NOT EXPECTING ONE OF THE end couple pairings(end is dubious it seems ongoing???) but i was so gen excited by the jumpscare potential romance i nearly put a hole in my wall. very realistic awkward kids going thru it. love the body inclusivity and not steering away from the difficult things that come with being "not average" weight. she is my baby.

the light novel thing is amazing, not finished but amazing and i think i would recc reading it first as it helps to give deeper context and smooth any possible loss in translation.

best of the official mangas out there rn when it comes to casual diversity, found family, and absolutely stunting on em.

i love this manga an insane amount. the art is unbelievable and just god tier BUT i will admit as far as plots go its a wee bit convoluted and death doesnt really hold much weight so theres no real emotion invested in terms of fear for characters. very funny tho love all the guys(gender neutral) there is a bit weirdness w how often ebisu is naked....

cute. luv this mangaka. all shonen ai, nothing non consentual. would b better w girls but still so sweet.
