Really soul crushing in the beginning, but the darkness in these characters lives give compelling explanations to their behavior. Heiner’s cruelty isn’t justified, but understandable and human and it’s sad, so glad ending is happy and a truly emotional read. Would reread. I love the FL and ML both.

One of my favorites, FL is strong to the end and intelligent, ML is obsessive/crazy but also a winner.

FL is strong, sassy, and GIRLY. GIRLY but strong, a rich, and doing well for herself, honestly girl goals. ML is…super good looking and adorable. I love the vibes of this story.
