A very sweet workplace romance between the rather awkward 23yo Katou and his aloof senpai, 29yo Serizawa. When Katou’s confession was initially met with rejection his tears caught the interest of Serizawa’s inner bully and the two began a relationship of teasing and increasing attraction. I loved that the awkward Katou was sexually intense and the way that Serizawa’s dominance in the bedroom fell before that youthful intense passion.

Such a lovely story. There was caring and respect between these two. I loved how after breaking up with the tramp of a girlfriend time was taken to resolve the hurt left behind and the MCs spent time getting closer emotionally. I love an age gap story with a younger seme, and Izumi was protective, patient and beautiful. A story to reread many times.

20yo Maki-kun has been an office worker for 2 years. His section chief (34yo) bosses him around terribly and for all that Maki lives to complain about his boss, he thrives under the abuse. Seems that section manager has recognised that Maki is an extreme M (although Maki would blushingly deny the extreme part). Maki is about to find out some surprises about his boss. A lovely slow paced story set around 4 guys in a small town. The mangaka was a maestro of the slice of life style of writing that makes you feel part of the community and events unfolding. It was so grounded it often felt like the characters are nice friends you know irl.

From school bully to obsessed stalker, Yoshinori spends his days secretly following Takasae. But when the object of his obsession finds out he is being stalked by an old nemesis, Yoshinori’s persistence may be the only way to change things from a one sided love to mutual affection. Sweeter than you would think for such a theme, with elements of kink thrown in for extra fun, this was a really good story.

Two interconnected stories with an office setting. Straight x gay relationships and the attraction between opposites, these were sweetly angsty.

Really good short stories, all of them. The yakuza and delivery guy had a good level of intrigue and strong characters that created some great chemistry and sexual tension. The school setting was the sweetest story of the bunch with the one sided crush. And I really liked the mechanic and stoic salesman. Their unexpected friendship between straight guys that progressed to romance was well paced and I liked the honesty of expression of feelings.

How rare to have someone who’s type includes that they be kind and gentle. This heartwarming story about salaryman Hagiwara Tatsumi, and single father, Maki Yuuto. Hagiwara is not one to get involved with anyone who has a “home” as he doesn’t want to be the one responsible for someone feeling neglected when a new love enters the life of a child with a single parent.
