The revealing of Llewellyn's back story was overly depressing, but that's not what got me. I was sort of basing off of Llewellyns' personality that he would bring emotional mischief, as he is, to the story but plot twist! It was Shavonne who made me distressed on a Saturday evening. A mischievous esper and an overtight guide
The way this story has twisted my heart without the heartbreak yet fills me with joy is something that is rare. I love both "Dear Gene" and "Rumspringa Joukei" so much. They are the rum to my springa, the springa to my gene you could say.
This was so beautifully written and drawn, I love that it has different stories all written in the context of the same setting.
