Leah Hildebrant, revered "Valkyrie" knight, enters into a political marriage with Roxant Kromer, the reviled scarred knight.
There's no politics and barely any drama in this manhwa. Their relationship develops very naturally, without either of them having to do any of the "heavy lifting" because they're well-matched in temperament and ability.
Gaon accidentally ends up aiding her estranged ex-bff Sera escape from her wedding, with the jilted groom is none other than their former classmate Jiho. Gaon and Sera are then unexpectedly transported to their high school days to rediscover what had once driven the three apart.
This manhwa has a time regression, but anything done in the past is left unchanged. I like how they took control of the present and resolved to create their own second chances.
Lithera was once transmigrated into a novel, but her second life ended tragically at the hands of the original male lead. Now on her third life, she must convince her friend from a former life, the Northern Duke, Pellus, to marry her to avoid her cruel fate.
This is popular because of Pellus's unconventional appearance, but it's also plot-heavy. It's nice to see a "us against the world" dynamic, with neither lead distracted trying to figure the other out.
Struggling actress Hwang Yura is on her next no-name role just as her boyfriend cruelly dumps her and announces his marriage. However, this may turn out to be her big break as she encounters A-List celebrity and starring role in her next movie, Kang Seunghyun.
Peak art and pure fluff. It's a bit "ML comes along and sweeps FL off her feet" but I think it's pretty well instilled that neither takes advantage of the other and both have mutual respect.
Freshly graduated, Yiyoung is launching a start-up with his college friends, leading to an encounter with big-shot CEO Daehyung, who he tries to win over professionally and personally.
Lowkey, the age gap, power dynamic, and size difference are all huge red flags that I'm glossing over simply because they're both down bad. The art style and relationship dynamic are fun if you don't think too much.
Seunghyun, fresh out of school and a long-time unrequited love, enters his first job as an intern where he meets his team lead, Jongchan.
This is like a healthier version of On or Off. There is a power/experience gap, but less. Besides flirting (or more) at work, there's little unprofessional conduct. They're rational adults who try to navigate their personal relationship around their work and private history.
- some very pretty one-off fanservice art
Yu Yang, a sociable and out college student, meets the taciturn Li Huan, marking the beginning of their clumsy young love.
There's so much slowburn, but I think it's realistic to how people meet, move past first impressions, develop friendships, and deepen their feelings. Also, there's the queer aspect of fear when you're someone's first queer interest. It's altogether very sweet and human.
After getting pushed out from her job, former journalist Ha Jiyo gets hired at a plastic surgery clinic, where she has a rough first encounter with Dr. Jin Sunwoo.
Story is pretty mid, but I do enjoy a good enemies-to-lovers. I don't think the ML should only be respectful after discovering that the FL is professionally capable, but I think the ridiculous stubbornness was on both sides, so they're well-matched?
Actor Han Dokyung gets caught up in the worst scandal of his career when chaebol Lee Soye makes an abrupt proposition: "Let's enter a relationship of convenience!"
This is a pretty standard "fake relationship" trope manhwa, but it has a nice and assertive female lead (whose "quirkiness" is a bit crazy, not just ditzy) and a male lead with a backstory that isn't used to justify scum behavior. Overall cute read.
