This manga is one of the best ones I've ever read. I started out with the anime, and immediately fell in love with the characters, plot and everything in-between. Thorfinn's character development is so beautiful, yes, beautiful--going from a young boy who's driven by rage and revenge to a man with understanding and compassion for other people. What can I say? I love this manga with all my heart, especially the small amounts of historical accuracy.
This manga is insane. Itou Junji's talent to take a simple thing or concept, and then turn it into something horrifying and downright disturbing is amazing. The art style is so much more detailed than I expected. Truly a unique reading experience!
This manga is horrifying, and the fact that it's told from a small child's perspective makes it even more fucked up. It leaves the readers confused and really grossed out, and I'm still wondering if it's all happening in his head, and if he really is dreaming. With that being said, this is not what I expected, and it's disgusting, but I'm reading surprisingly quickly.
This is an attention-grabbing story with interesting plots and characters. The art style is, perhaps, one of the most beautiful ones I've seen. I'm very excited to see where the story is headed, and how each respective character grows.
