9/10 — i adored this much more than i expected to. a lot of omegaverse topics, especially the touchy ones, were addressed in ways that most omegaverse BL’s tend to skirt around. i had concerns about consent, but it ended up being handled well. i sincerely wish the best for the main couple.
9/10 — emotional but heartfelt read; i usually hate time skips, but i feel it was done pretty satisfyingly here. MC’s apathetic demeanor makes the emotional moments hit hard.
6/10 — the ML’s a real…piece of work, but it was fun seeing the MC wrap him around his finger and grow a backbone throughout the story. i kinda dig MC’s gradual corruption arc. ultimately enjoyed this more than i expected to, given that i’d dropped it once before because the ML was pissing me off. it’s…not an easy read because of the ML.
10/10 — one of my highest recommended BL’s out there (given the heavy warnings of suicide and SA). fantastic level of drama that wasn’t overwhelming, and a satisfying revenge story that doesn’t go overboard. a toxicity i don’t actually mind because the power dynamic is very equal—both MC and ML are fucked up, and i love it.
7/10 — the inclusion of the “second ML” is what makes this manhwa frustrating; misunderstandings galore!! BUT the MC is extremely cute and i’m weak for pretty & clean art styles, still an enjoyable read
8/10 — it’s very cheesy and the whole video game concept sometimes unintentionally made me giggle from how corny it is—but still fun! one of my personal favorites, but more for guilty pleasure reasons than actual quality of writing.
7/10 — a surprisingly compelling read with flaws i can overlook for the sheer tension and dread created with the system. good mix of drama and fanservice that still keeps it as a light read.
edit: review under review, after a recent reread. 6/10
6/10 — a bittersweet story too ambitious and grandiose for the author to fully carry through, but still a potential tearjerker nonetheless. the writing is fairly hit or miss. the dynamic between MC and ML is refreshingly fun and honest.
9/10 — so damn cute and relatable! the ensemble cast doesn’t negate from the main couple, the humor’s on point and the character interactions are hilariously realistic. ~30 year old men experiencing puppy love is my favorite thing ever.
10/10 — not *technically* a BL, but very easily read as one; both a heartwrenching and heartwarming read, can’t recommend it enough. both characters are disabled and form a lovely bond over it that seems to transcend regular friendship; the author knows how to make you love their characters.
