I actually loved how the couple was developed here. It didn't feel rushed, especially this being a short story. The uke is a softy, but not a pushover. The seme is opinionated and distinguished, but he's not an asshole. Little to not toxicity before and during their relationship too!
The only downside to this in my opinion is that the seme's feelings wasn't developed well. Yet again, that is my opinion. Regardless, the couple has a lot of redeeming factors and I love that. The side characters are also remarkable and relevant. Love this at best.
The art is sublime with this one. The characters are one of the best drawn characters I have set my eyes on for a long while. Patience is key for their development, though. It is about encountering a familiar face from a traumatic memory and how this encounter set him to a series of changes and realizations to make better decisions for himself and the people around him.
