I quite like psychic BL tropes, it kind of adds this layer of irony over the story that can be really enjoyable. This one does it well.
Omg this manga actually kind of reminds me of Semantic Error, which I'm currently obsessed with and can't wait for it to be completed. The story has two main couples, they're both really likable. This manga just creates a very cozy little home for all the characters. My issue with BL manga is that they're usually too short to make any meaningful developments, and since this one has 4 volumes it used its length to the fullest.
I love yakuza stories where the yakuza Seme is really whipped for the Uke. I mean yeah they do kind of glorify the yakuza but as long as we acknowledge that the yakuza irl aren't actually like that I think no harm is done. Except maybe to the yakuza's reputation.
I read this a very long time ago and remember thoroughly enjoying it. I tried to re-read to refresh my memory of the plot, but I can't quite find the motivation. Adding it here for old time's sake.
This one isn't in mangago but I just had to add it because it's so unique in its style and presentation. The plot is kind of questionable because there is no plot but that's what makes this so beautiful. You get to fill in the gaps yourself.
Reconciliation is such as good BL trope when used correctly. This manga is just really warm and fluffy and cozy.
I'm a sucker for height differences I think it can be a really cute trope. It's a typical cool guy x lame cute guy story but I enjoyed it.
This is a top tier fluff slice of live comedy gag BL. It has so much dramatic irony, the art style is cute, everything is just short and sweet.
A cute single parent BL story. It's simple but it's sweet. Kota is so bratty but he's cute. I like when BL stories don't portray the protagonist's children to be complete angels but like realistically portrays how a kid would act.
This manga is very angsty. It involves internalised homophobia and overcoming it. It's handled very well, the Seme helps comfort the Uke and get over his issues and trauma.
