This one’s a little different from the others on the list. The ex is clearly feeling regretful about how his relationship with FL went down. But I’m not sure that I’d say it was “his fault” or that he deserves the suffering. Plus it’s hard to enjoy the regret of an ex when the MC is still hurting.

Nothing yet indicating regret since ML doesn’t know of what happened in FL’s first time being alive. I’m putting this here since I’m expecting it to come eventually. I’ll remove it if it goes in a different direction

It started out seeming like there’d be regret since he kinda treated her badly and wouldn’t agree to be with her. But whatever regret he felt, we didn’t really witness it. He ended up making his way back to her and they just picked up as if nothing happened

Personally, this isn’t the kind of regret plot I enjoy. The story basically cuts off as soon as the wife gets her revenge and the husband is left with regret and despair. But it doesn’t feel fun when you don’t see the aftermath of all that.

Depending on your outlook, this may be satisfying regret. Personally, it's not. The ex doesn't regret his actions. He regrets getting caught up in a mess, but even that is minimally shown.

I felt so much satisfaction seeing his panicked face when he realizes how badly he screwed up. I could actually feel my heart ache.
