Summary: Set in the year 1835. Pretty Rose Dupre is bullied and called the witch's daughter, and people say her mother kills and eats humans…
Review: I fell in love with this story when I read it over a year ago, and now that the chapters are updating again, this is the first manhwa that I’ll go to in my notifications. The main girl has many characters obsessed with her and it’s a plot with many layers and deliberate build up. The art is beautiful.
Summary: There's a new hero in town and he's got a bad attitude and a chainsaw dog demon! A dangerous combo.
Review: This is my number one manga and the only manga I bought all the volumes of. It’s extremely complex and the more you reread it, the more subtle details you’ll catch. It has really good antagonists and each character has a “tragic” background that makes them all enjoyable to read. It’s also not as long, so each chapter is eventful.
Summary: A romance story set in the Meiji era about a young lady who, with only a short time left to live, decides to marry a professional killer.
Review: The vibe of the manga is the same as the cover. The male lead is very twisted and it makes the plot a little heavy, but it also is a little lighthearted due to his demeanor when he is not psychotic. The female lead really complements his character well and the dialogue between them is chilling.
Summary: She made a big mistake on the first day. To get the attention of the boy she fell in love with at first sight, she lies about going out with her brother, the story of this dynamite sibling's school life.
Review: One of THE BEST. I love these type of manhwas with slow build up. It starts off lighthearted, but it has: twisted love, yandere ex, comedic aspects, and a strong female lead. All of it goes so well together, and there are also alternate endings in the end.
Summary: Hong Sul is an ordinary college student. Yoo Jung is the school's most popular upperclass man. He's good looking, rich, smart, and even nice. However, Hong Sul thinks there's more to Yoo Jung than what meets the eye…
Review: Read this a year ago, and I finished it all in 3 days. The dynamic between the yandere ml and the female lead is addicting, and I’ve still been meaning to watch the Kdrama. It’s a long read, but definitely worth it.
Summary: The series follows the romance between an office worker & his high school crush who is now married to his childhood friend.
Review: This one does have slight nudity, and the title is definitely applicable to the characters. The part I liked about the webtoon is the blonde haired guy in the cover had moments of obsession towards the black haired guy. It’s a really twisted story, and it has a heavy plot. The art is also pretty.
Summary: Minhee used to be a world-famous piano prodigy until one mistake sent her life spiraling. Her confidence shaken, her family broken and her life in ruins, all she can do is hope for a chance to make things better. That's when she meets Eun Hyun, the neighborhood piano teacher…
Review: The yandere male character is her high school friend (?) I think that’s the red head and those few panels gave me chills. It’s an interesting read.
Summary: One night Satoshi, a middle school student, notices a strange object in the sky. Following the object to a local park he comes across something unimaginable...
Review: This manga has a very interesting concept, and the male lead is a sociopath where he makes this creature bug thing dependent on him, and she throws away her entire purpose just for him. Romantic in a sense (if you could say that???) but very twisted and abnormal.
Summary: Natsumi just lost her younger sister, Haru to chemotherapy. As her sister's coffin finally closes for the last time she whispers "wait for me until I join you"…
Review: So much grief and regret and guilt, and it makes the manga VERY dark. The main girl was dependent on her dead sister and willing to throw her life away to be with her, but the male lead changes her life. It’s that kind of twisted love that’s filled with guilt.
Summary: I've possessed a character in an R-rated BL manhwa. It's in a world where people, whose craziness ranges from one to ten, appear…
Review: I’m currently reading this, and most of the chapters shows the build up to the male lead’s obsession with the female lead. The female lead is very strong but has a soft spot for the male lead due to pitying him. The male lead is insecure and wants to lock her up for himself. The art is simple but pretty.
