2. Confinement (WITH REVIEWS)

This is less angsty and more towards confinement. But don’t skip this, it’s still a sweet story to me. I was happy when they ended up together (even though I knew they would)

If you like main characters that are submissive…yeah…this…this is for you. Another crazy male lead, another simple minded main character. This manga is probably the author’s weakest plot so far

This is a classic confinement troupe. Worst of all, the main character will never know that he was manipulated and tricked into his confinement for the rest of his life.

Confinement is more relatable when you find out what happened. Anyways the male lead is also not redeemable in my opinion. But the art is nice.

Power dynamics between a rich man and a poor girl. What can I say? Even though the male lead tried to show that he could do a lot for her, I couldn’t get into it

This falls under confinement and “toxic but my kind of toxic” troupe. Goddamn. It’s insane how fickle minded the male lead is. And also how delulu (delusional) he was. Poor main character is getting played on the basis of love.

One of my favourite “toxic but my kind of toxic” reads. It’s how she eventually finds out that he is this manipulative to “obtain” her, and how she knows that she would still love him, and how she eventually staged a situation (out of her confinement) despite knowing he would eventually find out.
Love the angst

Oh look. Another favourite! I can’t wait for more updates on this. The level of toxicity is considered lower than the other mangas though. It’s a novel so I’ve more or less read the ending. You can guess what happens as this still follows a stereotypical story line
