There is a mystery surrounding him but it doesn’t make me need to know everything abt him bc it’s slowly showing his journey to how he came to be who he is. Also when I find a character annoying cuz it distracts from him they end up being lovely in how they add to the world

why havent I read this sooner, it has all the elements I look for in male centered fantasy slice of life-esque stories
cooking, animals/creatures and a lame ass protagonist that has their strengths when really their charm is what gets them places
