i have no idea why the title is wrong here it's urasekai not isekai but Anyway. my no. 1 pick, sci-fi psychological horror with fucked up protagonists (both emotionally and physically), lots of cool urban legend lore and great character writing. my absolute fav yuri i would die for sorawo and toriko. yuri is slow burn and kind of in the background but they Are gay TRUST

HNFHRNGHRGNHR i have so many feelings about this series. mostly the light novels but this is a good adaptation (the anime too!). very introspective, very character heavy, very VERY slow. i wouldn't recommend it if you're not in it for the long haul because. it can be boring. but the character writing is some of my fav out there and adachi is my anxious little girlfail daughter and i'd die for her.
the story is So Fucking Good and also is capable of driving me to tears i love They. we need more historical gl fr... one of my all time favorites i would recommend this over and over
