actually the reason this list exists.
its about the mc, who's a closeted gay, struggling with his sexuality and the fear of being victim to homophobia. He stumbles upon a little queer community and gets to know the people, their stories, their struggles, and most importantly himself
it did a gread job at representing the life of being someone who's queer. it portrayed the complicated feeling that comes with it so well and I honestly cried the first time I read it
it's about Hime and her best friend Akira, a trans girl, who she's been in love with since before finding out she identifies as a girl.
It discusses topics of transphobia (having a friend who experiences transphobia) and accepting the changes your friend has made with their identity, including your feelings towards them
great manga about being nonbinary
at first I thought it would be trash to be honest, I thought it would be one of those manga with "traps" in it or some stuff but it was actually pretty serious.
It's mainly focusing on the enby main character and the ml, but there are a bunch of other queer characters like someone using neo pronouns, the ml's trans sister, another trans girl on her way to accept herself, etc.
to be honest I didn't know weither I should add this or not because of the 18+ scenes and because it's rather a BL than a queer story but I felt like the struggles of being gay and being a minority and the struggles of accepting yourself were so well portrayed in my opinion.
Huge TW though because this has a lot of dark themes like racism, homophobia, drugs, assault etc.
