Personal Favorites

This is one of those stories that gets you to believe in magic again. Hoping you would be the lucky one with the windy veranda. Beautifully done, I’m so overwhelmed with positive feedback that I’ve rendered myself speechless, this really is one of the best pieces of media I have ever enjoyed.

Stories like this are more reminiscent of real life. The change and loss and grief it brings. I think stories like this may be upsetting for some people, as things don’t end the way you expect them to. After reading this my heart aches and I can’t help but cry, not because it’s a tragedy, but because it’s real, and I’m filled with hope and dread and reminders. Love doesn’t leave you when a person does, your memories and your heart hold onto them for as long as your soul lingers.

It’s special to see yourself projected into a character so vividly. And to see them be loveable and unapologetic themselves is something that fills me with a lot of hope. I recently bought a new journal, maybe that can be the place I write all my fantasies. >_<

Beautiful, I love characters with rich self narratives, exposed thoughts and defined personalities. This is a book of simple joys, fulfilling in an easy way.

This story shows so well how it is to be uncomfortable with touch, and when you find someone you like to touch just how life changing it is. The art and the story and the words do such a great job of explaining feelings I’ve had. Feelings of love and lust, the feeling that someone has a wall built up, the feeling of letting go, losing things, being free. I love this book, I want to learn to read Japanese so I can read it and interpret it myself, it’s the first manga to make me feel that way.

This author is incredible. I’m uncomfortable and I want
To cry at the bittersweet ending. I didn’t want it to end like that, it doesn’t feel right. This book is viscerally disgusting. It’s too real, it’s too much. Reading this author vignettes the corners of my room, and makes me
Cold. He makes my chest feel tight and makes me feel like there is no hope left in the world. I haven’t a single thing to be happy for. What an incredible artist.

I love these characters, their passion and energy is infectious. This story made a pain in my chest I’m still trying to sus out. I think I worry my romance won’t be fulfilling because I am so career driven, and reading this, I felt so different than them. I know there’s more than one type of romance, but I want something energetic like this. I fell in love with Issei’s character as well. Loveable brat. I hope one day I can find someone who is fulfilling in that way.

Jazz is an important piece of my life, and music in general, always brings me friends and loved ones. The end was so sweet and made me tear up. I love the characters. Such an easy and engaging read

I love this author, they capture moments very cinematically. Their art is beautiful, the story is easy. It feels real, and so calm and nice. I loved this story.
