Made this list because I hate 90% of fictional men with a burning passion and would rather have the main character be independant or gay <3
And although I say Otome Isekai (outdated title!), I really just mean any medieval fantasy with a female protagonist. I'll also be including novels because creators of this genre are fucking obsessed with romance and I'll take ANY works that don't include it (this is a joke I still have standards but I will be including as many as I can find in this list).
kind of seems like romance at first and side characters seem to want it to be romance, but main characters have one of the best platonic love relationships ive ever seen. like i could genuinely see them living together until theyre old or getting married just platonically. i love them very much.
