This manga handles their side characters really well whilst simultaneously giving enough time for the main couple to shine. How it handles telling the gay experience is what I found very compelling. It’s realistic, mature, and funny at the same time. Love how they actually communicate! Classmates, explosions of feelings— Just a very good manga in the sense that reading it is enjoyable and it tells a beautifully woven story. 10/10
rly loved their bickering dynamic. will miss them. they were so healthy and funny! yet they weren't faultless. their love life was reminiscent of their ages. it definitely wasn't their first time down that road but they damn well could make it their last. i loved how their characters were so consistent and even the gags! it made them feel all the more real and invested in the story. great dynamic characters, plot holeless ending. enjoyable read! 10/10
Wow! Don’t be intimidated by the number of chapters. All the seasons have something new to offer, showing their gradual growth in maturity and the separate phases of their lives. They face a lot of difficulties as a couple, but they overcome them and communicate. The misunderstandings aren’t annoying. The side characters, story, and art are awesome. (i.e. Taesung’s parents) No loose ends except for one minuscule thing. Great established relationship fluff. Story’s semirea
Surprisingly, this is not a story about a murderer and the pitiful witness to his crime, but rather a story about healing from your past trauma. The premise is definitely an interesting one, but what makes this story so special is the composition and the god tier writing, holy… It just makes so much sense despite the outlandish setting. Has a pretty great message if you ask me. The author really outdid themself w/ this story. 10/10
This is quite the sweet story but a little sad and a bit on the heavier side. I really liked the message and theme. Just goes to show that even when you’re feeling lost or stranded, you’ll eventually find a pair of wings. Just like Satomi in the story. It was wholesome, healing, uplifting, but also kind of creepy (?). Maybe it was the art, but… ah you’ll get what I mean when you read this. Anyway, I enjoyed this a lot! 9/10
This is just too lovely, man. Both the leads have their own issues. The MC has internalized homophobia, and the ML’s ex cheated on him. I think it’s quite realistic in that the MC is a “dishonest” man, who chooses to hide his real self in the pretense of a heteronormative “happy ever after.” I loved his growth as a character (plus the ML was so cute). Just wish we had more established relationship fluff. ;-; 9/10
5/5 I love this! It’s so refreshing how this manga shows the other side of being gay, where the characters aren’t super handsome ikemen—liking someone and having things not end up like a picture perfect fairy tale. maybe a love goes unfulfilled. ACK but i just thoroughly appreciate how realistic this is. it explores a different side of BL that definitely should be expressed more often imo
Pretty good actually! First impressions were not great, but the seme actually got character development to my surprise. What kept me reading despite that plot point was the fact that the story is just really interesting. The uke is literally an ex-convict! There’s this sense of underlying mystery, and I, for one am hooked. I like the characters (except for the seme). There also exists a thrill in the action that takes place. But anyway, I enjoyed this, and I quite like the writing! 8.5/10
I really like this manhwa because it feels so real… Like the characters. I was at first drawn to this because it was about a food show obviously, but I really like how the author portrays the leads’ relationship with one another. And I love the food as well. It almost feels like you could walk past one of the leads on the street and never even notice. It’s extremely well written and an enjoyable, immersive read. 8.5/10
Really liking the character development. It's not just the MC's who trying to change his playboy ways. It's also the ML trying to change his constitution. Being weak to pain and simply accepting things he doesn't want. The smut is not also good, the characters are great, too! Loving how they've covered topics like toxic masculinity and superiority complexes. The characters are very relatable. Update: So I loved it! Really cute ending. Lots of established relationship flu
