10/10!!! if we're talking about realism, this is def one of them. plus, this is a rare adult yuri where young adults are dealing with realistic life issues as women loving women and the way they express themselves. their circumstances can lead to you crying like a baby at some agonizing point of the story. art that's easy to the eyes accompanied with heartfelt writing is something you wouldn't want to overlook.
8/10!!! this one became a bit known bcs of that netflix movie adaptation, but it's still quite niche as it can't be easily anyone's cup of tea. may be because of the art or the intense storyline. it's at times gut-wrenching and depressing to read but that is exactly what makes it emotionally raw and a beautiful fictional story. the characters are undeniably flawed and toxic. such an interesting read, and i did cry a lot because of how tragic their situations were.
10/10!!! this isn't the most tear inducing manhua in here but there are parts that have made me want to cry because i really related to it lmao, just my personal preference. but this one is really good ngl, you won't regret reading it. the soft art style with the pastel palette is just gorgeous, plus the great storytelling! the lines said by the leads move me to tears honestly...
10/10!!!! idk abt you all or whether i'm just a crybaby lesbian but the pureness of this manga that shows how one deals with one's first actual love (and love for women as a fellow woman) just never fails to make me bawl and grip onto my chest very tightly. i keep relating my past innocent self to their struggles in falling in love, and that's something i don't want to miss out on pointing out..
(will add a review once i finish reading)
10/10!!! such an incredibly wholesome yet agonizing story about experiencing grief and finding a home in the midst of a "lost" state of mind. such a tear-jerker this story was, from the start to last, it was so full of life. i just knew that this kind of story could have happened to anyone in the world in real life. overall this is a beautifully illustrated and written manga.
10/10!!!! tells a lot about the patriarchy in old england as well as in old japan. this is such a beautiful story about the love of two women born from different yet kind of similar worlds. it's not an "emotional-every-chapter" kind of story, but certain chapters really tugged on my heartstrings and made me tear up being a total lesbian who loves love...
10/10!!!! such gorgeous art! but besides that, this was so fcking beautiful :((( i loved this story so much. i hate how adorable they are as individuals and together because their story made me sob a lot. this was a wonderful read.
10/10!!!! i'm including this in the list because it's such a devastatingly beautiful story and i keep crying about knowing that its author will never continue it anymore... rip author ssamba :((( this was a wonderful, one-of-a-kind manhwa that didn't come with many sexual scenes yet kept me on the edge of my seat, sometimes wanting to sob out of frustration and slight lovesickness from getting to know the relationship of the main leads. it just really makes me cry when i think about this story..
10/10!!! At one point of the story, readers might be confused, but the plot twist was amazing. So raw and gentle, the emotions portrayed by the characters had my heart on a tight grip. I love the main leads so much, they suit each other really well and the story made me want to cry!
So, Do You Wanna Go Out, Or?
