FL is a fallen aristocrat who encounters (future) MIL who's looking for a bride for her son that has golden hair & blue eyes (because of a fortune telling). She accepts to be her DIL in exchange for 100 gold coins which was needed for them to renounce their noble status & to not pay huge amount of taxes that they had to work for by working multiple jobs. It continues on FL's life in a foreign country with ML & the controversies with the royal family's way of governing.
