megumi has feelings for her classmate ukyou, and finds out that ukyou has been killing her bullies.
cmon, thats it??? i understand why megumi did what she did but it couldve been amazing at the end with them both pursuing her feelings, but this just made me sad!
a look into the life of naguru and herapi, how they met and how their child towa changed their lives.
love the art, and love the character dynamics, but ngl i thought that naguru and herapis relationship felt a bit one-sided, wish we got more insight into nagurus emotional development to the point where we believe he actually liked herapi himself, but alas, the vagueness of it all actively tampered with my understandings of the situation. towa really saved this manga, love him to bits.
anthology pertaining to female sexuality
pretty unique and entertaining, the first story was my favorite. loved the red ink color choice.
after an incident caused by a disobedient member of his group, nishida sets out to smooth things over with the rival gangs head, kuroda, and thus begins a mutually satisfactory relationship to keep the peace.
considering how short this manga is, i think it was pretty well paced and had a simple and coherent plot. the childhood best friends plot was a bit cliche but worked out nicely. though i feel like the ending with both the yakuza leaders being okay with everything was too easy
after moving back to his hometown, shinokawa reconnects with his tsundere childhood crush kaede after 10 years. after a heady encounter, yoshida begins to grow feelings for his friend watanabe.
i love this mangaka's affinity for possessive boyfriends, and shinokawa was certainly one of them. these two were just a stupid silly mess though-- one doesnt understand boundaries while the other refuses to express his interest. the second story is also cute, though i wish they actually be
couple yuka and kaoru have sex for the first time
it cute thats all i gotta say, finally a yuri pwp where they both look like adults
though sunako's situation is not ideal, she doesnt need anything besides her stepsister
man, this couldve been so good if only the object of her affections wasnt her literal stepsister..
sanako starts dating her ballet classmate saki, but their relationship was not made to last from the very beginning.
is that really it? so depressing! though the relationship did feel onesided, i still thought saki was so cute and sanako shouldve done better. liked the ballet theme.
dowon finds out his new neighbor is a camboy. dojin reconnects with his first love taeju.
i just finished reading 108 chapters within 2 days, so my opinion might be skewed. story wise i really liked this, the characters were dynamic and it was a good balance between serious and funny. liked both couples. it wasn't however, a good balance between smut and plot-- the first story couldve easily been cut down by half w/out the smut that constantly delayed plot development.
kotarou pretends to be the boyfriend for his childhood friend in order to shoo off a persistent aoi, but ends up catching feelings for the latter.
i really like yoriko's works so i was pretty excited for this, considering its one of her most popular works, but i think that in the end, this is perfectly average. aoi was getting on my nerves for half of the book, though i did think he was cute in the end and overall the manga was light and and predictable read.
I Love You (hanatsu Yaya)
