Things get worse and worse and worse. Semi-realisitc depictions of mental illness that borders on 'horror manga insanity' without fully crossing it. Not angsty imo, just depressing.

Not really about mental illness, but if you want to see a bottom have litearlly every bad thing ever happen to him, be my guest! Truley, and honestly, this is a slightly worse version of Limited Run.

The better Jinx. Everything terrible ever happens to the bottom but it doesn't feel as forced. Not super angsty as the bottom isn't a little bitch, but still some hurt/comfort(?) feelings.

Substance abuse, prostitution, and enough angst to get by. Very realistic storytelling and depiction of said items. Good read!

I want that old man so badly. AHEM. anyways. Love this author, funny moments and interesting conflicts between characters and internally. Bullying, murder, etc. Also has a zombie.

Good read for the first arc, but now im sick of this shit. A lot of bottom going through literally everything you can imagine, poor baby. He spends 70% of the comic brooding in a batman way. Very philisophical

One of those cool fighting mangas that seems kind of basic, but it actually doesn't suck. Read chapter one and decide if you like the rest, it basically treats topics with the actual seriousness they need. 16 year old protag with the world on his shoulders.

GRAHHH UPDATE. anyways, very kind of unique brand of bottom being pityable. He is a hard worker but pushes himself. Despite taking place in an isakai world, protag is very realistic and babygirl. Bad things happen to him (see a pattern?)

Bad things happen to everyone-- Yuri edition! Despite seeming super kawaii, the entire manga is sort of depressing with yuri fantasizing sprinkled in. Everyone has depression. Animeish plot, but still good.

COOL!!! Mainly about communication problems handled in a reailstic way. Lots of BDSM and the dynamics that go with that. Mainly just two adults doing adult things with adult problems (sprinkled in with a few rich guy owning an idol agency problems)
