yeahhh generally this *should* fall under “girls love” BUT i feel like her trans identity plays a crucial role in the story and makes it more about gender identity than sexuality . henceforth, me putting it on this queer list

AKIRA THEY COULD NEVER MAKE ME HATE U!! despite nothing being outright said, akira is CLEARLY queer and androgynously nonbinary. i love them. and i love the message of this story. oh! and that ending?? beautiful 10/10
