There are a few scenes in the beginning that cross the line for me. The characters can be a bit emotionally manipulative. Especially the omega. Which makes sense considering his past and all but it also makes it a less fluffy read. But the relationship does get to a healthy and nice point so I do recommend this manga.

The Alpha drugs the omega with a heat inducing drug and they end up having sex. This starts their relationship. The Alpha is also in a higher position at their work place.

Weather or not the sexual activity was consensual is … debatable. But the marking definitely was not consensual. The omega takes it rather lightly. Mostly because he does not seem to be mature enough to understand the gravity of the situation. Which somehow makes it worse (for me).

OCD like behaviours (excessive cleanliness) is „magically cured“ by meeting the right man. The Alpha also does not accept a „stop“. Which is blamed on him being a foreigner and not understanding the language correctly. I call bullshit because he understands literally everything else. He also continues to be pushy when dealing with an extremely shy an inexperienced omega.

Rape everywhere. And the omega falls in love with the Alpha rapist. Who is also a criminal and pressures him into sexual favours by threatening to harm his younger brother. Scum.

The omega kind of sells his own body to the Alpha in order to protect his son. So I guess it’s consensual? It’s just not healthy. In the end the alpha comes around quite a bit.

They Omega is extremely pushy and forces himself into situations that neither him nor the Alpha enjoy. The characters do not communicate well. And the Alpha is unnecessarily and overly jealous.

The omega is the alpha’s secretary wich gives the relationship a power imbalance from the get go.

I feel like they have an odd relationship dynamic. It feels imbalanced. Not quite wholesome enough to make it into my wholesome list. But also not fully toxic. I am sticking it here anyways. It’s also not very good in my opinion.

The Moral compass of all the character is off (what does that say about the author…?).
This features a kidnapping as well as a rape early on. Yes, the omega accepts all of this as okay behaviour. But that doesn’t make it any less toxic in my eyes.
