SOOO INTERESTING, I love the world building and the lore especially everything that had to do with the magic snd the spirits. They've been rivals as students in the magic school and she never beat him. They continued to meet after graduation because of their work. Alves' subtle actions towards her is absolutely redeems his pathetic, emotionally constipated ass but I hope he'll be able to work on it. He fell first, that's an important thing to mention. Read carefully and notice the small details.

I can't believe the side couple has progressed faster than them... I can feel the slow burn because only one of them has started getting conscious of the other, and the other... He's suspicious... They started as rivals in the academy and because of a potion she made, they ended up always seeing each other in their dreams. The rivalry was on the lesser side because they worked in different fields after graduation but of course they're involved in a dangerous matter, which I think is very interesting and had me hooked!!
