beautiful and awful and everything at the same time. just, wow. slow build-up is incredible, as are many of the horror visuals. the mom is an absolute horrible person but you cannot help but see the humanity in her, especially towards the end, which was one of the most incredible sequences i've ever read. chapter 138 especially just left me sobbing but the entire ending is perfect.
a weird one but certainly something i enjoyed; a tale of two absolutely broken people, one who selfishly uses the other, and the other being completely dependent on the first. fortunately both get their happy endings. very interesting premise using a pretty general body swap idea with such a unique twist.
a famously successful and beautiful model who cannot come to terms with her own aging ruins not only her own life, but also the lives of the people around her, all in vain. sort of hoped for more horror elements given the tag but the main character's fear of inferiority was still very present throughout the story.
reread this when you get the chance. i'm obsessed with the story for some reason.
god this story is so good. a boy is trying to deal with his best friend who has died and gotten possessed by a demon. slowly a mystery starts to unfold regarding the mountain and the potential dangers this demon has brought to the boy and the town. the angst yoshiki feels as he has to decide whether to continue being friends with "hikaru" is fascinating to read, especially amidst all the unsettling developments. the horror parts are also genuinely terrifying.
RAAAGH wish this wasn't a oneshot! love the set-up so much.
