Hayakawa loves music and was often hated due to his talent. He began going to the roof to be alone during high school where he meets Konno, a photography geek. Hayakawa envies Konno's straightforward nature while he himself lied constantly, putting on a smile all the time. Hayakawa continues to pursue sex and ends up assaulting Konno out of frustration. Konno confronts Hayakawa and helps him mature and heal bit by bit till Hayakawa stops going to the roof after a 'fake' confession

Tajima one day accidentally dumps a bucket of water on a crying Koga. Koga was crying due to the loss of his goldfish which he received from the person he likes. The culprit was Tajima's cat. Koga eventually admits to knowing that Tajima was Buuta's owner, but had decided to keep quiet just to trouble Tajima. Koga also decides to tell Tajima about his unrequited love. Crybaby Koga starts to fall for Tajima's kindness while Tajima begins to realize he wants to see Koga smile.

Haruhi is often compared to his twin brother. He acts more reserved in comparison to his free-willed brother. Haruhi seeks some form of escape from his own bottled up feelings through homosexual one night stands. All throughout, he lies about his real name to be Kazuki, in order to acheive the sense of defiling his brother to vent his envy and hate. He one day meets Tachibana who wants to befriend him. Haruhi starts to find himself and learns to open back up to the people around him.
