10/10: Harry Potter X Kiki's Deliver Service. Also, Qifrey, my beloved.
10/10: Gotta love gay dads who also love to cook.
10/10: This is a well-written manga with an exciting concept. As someone very familiar with Shakespeare, this, while it is a stretch to call it an adaption, is quite respectful to the source material. The interpretation of Richard is both refreshing and captures the original themes of the play very well. It is strange to read a manga with a decent understanding of Shakespeare's characters, as many modern interpretations fail. Overall, it is very complex and depressing, so keep that in mind.
10/10: I love the art; the story and Jun are adorable! There are some dark moments, such as the mention of suicide and child abuse, but it is overall a feel-good manga. If you want a slice of life, I highly recommend this one!
10/10: It's Death Note. It's like trying to defend chocolate cake. It's just amazing.
10/10: On par with Death Note, if not better in some areas. This has the best villain in any manga I have ever read. Honestly, it will blow your socks off.
10/10: Do I even need to justify this?
10/10: I adore this webtoon. Lee Won (the MC) is a strong-willed lawyer who doesn't take shit from anyone. Yet, during a case, he somehow ends up entangled with "Caesar," a leader in one of Russia's largest mafias. This relationship proves to be fateful as, once Caesar meets Lee Won, he decides he can never let him go. No matter what. It should be noted that while the characters are incredibly charming (except one), there are EXTREME yandere/obsessive themes.
10/10: Maiden Rose was one of the first Yaoi mangas I ever read, and, therefore, mind the pun, it makes me see it through rose-coloured glasses. The art and writing are beautiful; however, the love between the MC and ML is very toxic. Moreover, the story is both romantically and politically driven, the themes and symbolism being thought-provoking. If you have ever watched "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence," it is reminiscent of that movie. If you want a tragic/disastrous couple, read this
10/10 (so far): This is a more extreme version of Roses and Champagne. The MC is badass, and the ML is Caesar, but X10 is worse (which I love). The chemistry and mystery between the two is addictive, and I am a sucker for any spy story, so it does remind me of a dark James Bond tale. The action is also well written, and the art is beautiful. Again, the same triggers as Roses and Champagne (if not a bit worse).
