Both characters are super fun and great chemistry. The art is absolutely gorgeous all the character designs are so unique.I wish this would update faster because I can't wait to find out more Mr. Ghost and to see how this relationship is going to go since yk, one is dead.
Super fun comic about young college illustration students. Great ace rep, main couple and side couple are great too. Great comedy and surprisingly very grounded and realistic. Definitely for people more into slice-of-life or drama series.
I mean it's GIVEN. Of course it's on the all-stars list. Beautiful art, great subtle comedy, good interpersonal connections, great story, overall I liked seeing each of the characters' growth and Mafuyu having to deal with his grief. You get attached to everyone. This is more of an LGBTQ+ story than BL, and I love stories like that. Japan misses the mark on stories like this 95% of the time, but it's great when gems like this get popular.
i see a lot of mixed reviews for this, but I think this deserves to be here. I think the process of Sarang and Jinwoo's relationship just overshadows the annoying character (i.e. pink-haired girl, Wujong). Also I think it's good to show how homophobia can affect people's lives, I like that realistic aspect. This is still one of my favorites, I read this when I was younger too and I've reread this like 5 times, so I have nostalgia tied to this one.
I mean what could I say that hasn't been said already, this is just a masterpiece in teenage lgbtq+ fiction. There's actually supposed to be a drama supposed to come out for this one, and I'm going to BINGEWATCH IT TO DEATH. So deserved, every character here is great, great comedy, interpersonal conflicts, GAY PARENTS. Wouldn't hesitate to reread, this is one comic that deserves its popularity. If you like Heartstopper, this will be your jam.
First off, rest in peace to the person who wrote this. I wish he could have gotten chance to finish this masterpiece before he passed, but I'm glad he was able to give us what they could. This is a tough read in the best way. It tackles the struggles with gender dysphoria, PTSD, abuse, and p3do SA in a respectful way. At first Taiga seems to be annoying and just insensitive, but to watch his character growth makes him one of the best characters, probably one of the best MCs in a BL ever.
The art-style alone is a 10 out of 10. I love this mangaka's style but their output quality is so inconsistent. This one is such a hidden gem though. I love how their relationship is sort of uncertain at the beginning a lot of 'will or won't they' and thankfully it doesn't last too long. It's interesting to see Gou struggle with his sexuality while he's friends with someone who's gay. And when they get together it's super satisfying.
Defies all expectations and could’ve easily gone south, but stayed healthy and fluffy all throughout. Usually shorter mangas/manhuas have a lot of trouble with pacing but this one felt just fine, and I had no trouble staying hooked throughout definitely a joy to reread. Only gripe is that they got together after like 2 weeks or so . I’ve never been a big fan of quick relationships, but other than that this is one of my faves.
This deserves to be on the list, just because of how great it is compared to its sister comics bc, HOLY MOLY. SADISTIC BEAUTY IS TRASH. I don't even understand how this author went from that to this, but here it is. It's such a breath of fresh air and the have great chemistry, and both of them are hilarious, definitely one of the best korean Yuri couples. It's great if you like fluffy comedy romance.
Action is so near and dear to my heart, it's such an adrenaline rush and so dear to hear. I also have an excuse to yell at people about the dumb shit they do lol. A lot of action BL is really rapey or less action and more romance. But this was a perfect balance and I loved it. This should honestly be a movie. Great one to reread over and over again.
