If you know you know. If you don't get ready for the ride of a lifetime. This is one the best gems of early 2010s Japanese BL. Primarily because it focuses on its plot first, character development second, and on the romance last which I personally appreciate. This story is way ahead of its time. If you're interested in dystopia, sci-fi corruption stories this is definitely for you. Highly recommend reading this first then watching the anime.
This is a fun fluff manga to reread over and over again. These two are just lovable, and you enjoy seeing how their relationship develops. Even though it's so short, I think it's a nice quick highlight to add to your day.
I think this has the multiple story curse, where the first one is great and the others are just lackluster compared to it, but it is an important read for not only trans people, but also cis people to understand the pain trans people feel. I think this manga was able to visualize feelings that most, not even doctors, can explain. And seeing him finally get surgery and his slow transition is just so cathartic. I wish more people knew about this one.
Man I wish this was finished, but this is like Killing Stalking if it was actually healthy... to an extent. Both of these characters are so fun, and they have great chemistry. Their dialogue is so fun to read. Watching the police try and figure what's going on is an absolute ride, it gives the same rush as Death Note as you're trying to figure out how the antagonists get away with what they do. They're very much antagonists of their story, but their actions are understandable. Super fun read.
It has such an interesting premise and great chemistry between all the characters. I like that the kid isn't annoying and is the perfect mix of all of her parents; well, maybe not exactly like her mother, though; hopefully, she won't be. I like learning about their backstories, the relationship developments, the MC struggling to use his passion as a suitable means of income and how they all have to deal with their resentment to Ririko despite her recent pssing.
Same author as Dysfunctional Family Therapy. I love the way this turned out. It went from childhood friends reuniting to an in-depth exploration of what it's like for Japanese employees to be forced to work in terrible conditions going through the cycle of life being pushed to edge and having to completely throw away their lives because of their heartless bosses, with a touch of positive nihilism. Just a great story all throughout and you should definitely read it then watch its new drama
Honestly, this had no right to be this good. I mean, look at the cover. It looks like another one of those weird shitpost mangas that randomly appear on Mangago’s homepage. But this is actually amazing. Both the characters are a delight, especially the MC. He is very memorable and probably the best take on the straight-to-bisexual trope. It does have predictable plot points, but the author completely turns it on its head, is very refreshing. Definitely a must-read.
Get your weirdly cute young queer sex ed manga here. This is a breath of fresh air in a genre that assumes queer dudes just shove it in and call it day and everything is hunky dory. Probably as realistic as it can be, and it’s nice to see that them being gay isn’t necessarily an issue, but still goes over the scary thoughts of realizing your sexuality or coming out. The main couple is great, and its refreshing how they actually COMMUNICATE. Just some good ol’ fluff for the soul.
