Yajima Reiko, slightly tyrannical but ultimately a softie (don't tell her tho). The Toudou women... I hope they stop babying Kazuomi though.
Well, they're more benign than entirely positive. But it's refreshing nonetheless. Especially Maya and Nemu's classmates. On the surface, you expect them to be catty or bullies, but they're actually kind. They greeted Nemu politely (even though they called him glassesboy), they get worried when Nemu looked freaked out over an exam, and Kana got kept an eye on Nemu in the club until Maya arrived to save the day. Nemu's mother is strict but kind, she worries about her only son.
Despite being overwhelmed by the brashness of youth, both the daughter and daughter-in-law are nice, well-meaninged women.
You know what, I don't think I've ever seen so many supportive female characters in a Yaoi story before. And not even one wretched witch. Not a one.
Multiple, well-fleshed out female roles and characters for the win!
The strong willed war-widow.
The kind hearted sister who tried to reconcile the hotheaded men in her family.
The highflying woman, the kind sister, the cunning innkeeper, and the group of (i think) war widows working at the inn.... among others.
Supportive coworkers, a supportive lady boss who still dreams of higher education, and mothers!
while the jury is still out on the main couple**,
we all should be so lucky to have an ex and/or friend like Juujou.
**(sometimes BOTH of them gets on my nerves, sometimes they make me laugh and squee and feel fluffy, sometimes they make me throw things at walls)
