The MC knows the dad has been physically and mentally abusing her older brother but only treats her nicely and she’s accepted her adopted dad as her real dad just cause of his kind facade when SHE KNOWS (from reading the novel) THAT HES A CHILD ABUSER AND SHE HAS RED HOW BADLY HER LOVING BROTHER IS ABUSED. BYSTANDERS ARE JUST AS BAD AS ABUSERS. I HATE HER
