suspend your disbelief. it's yaoi incest with rapist younger stepbrother. it's not so much tragic as it is bleak and depressing. the story conveys the victim's despair, hatred, and helplessness. the stepbrother's actions ruin his relationship and his family, in the end. i think the story would've been better received if it delved into the reasons why the mc relented to the stepbro in the first place.
