There is a reason this is so well regarded... I have been planning a re-read since its been yeeaarss buuuut lord I need the strength & capacity to be able to handle this one again.
Regardless of rankings.. this will always remain unforgettable & holds a special place in my heart. the bl rite of passage lol

-truly beautiful artwork, imagery, and writing
-its rare for me to shed a tear when reading, but this achieved that
-portrays wht micro aggressions are and feel like so well
-realistic complex characters
