Why read this when I could read a romance with leads that I’ll have higher chance of liking?

Comments + Reviews confirmed that the generic summary is accurate to a generic / over done storyline. The characters sound frustrating and boring.

Was interested in the art and marked "want to read" in case the story was simple but characters/relationships stood out, however that doesn't seem to be the case.

High ratings so saved to check out later but nah. Blurb doesn’t give us much and it sounds like he raises his love interest / the ML is a minor? Weird vibes, skip.
