Toxic/problematic Manga

ML cheats on FL like it’s nothing multiple times and never actually says sorry for it. But it’s okay because everytimes he cheats on her he thinks of her (?). But then even the thought of her having an ex makes him almost rip off her necklace and hurt her.

The male lead has no concept of consent, and this whole manga makes it a point that you should forgive EVERYONE, even your rapists. (Especially if your rapist has a sad back story). Actually disgusting.

Why are rapists always so easily forgiven in these kind of mangas and manhwas? It makes me so SO mad. I’m just so tired of it. They get to live a happy life, getting away with just a slap on the wrist at BEST. It’s not taken seriously at all. What message is this supposed to convey to young girls?
