this story is not complicated nor it is problematic. its a simple slice of life romance of two handsome highschool kids. it span seven days in making them falling for each other. but somehow the serenity of this story make it exceptionally good and extremely memorable. its simple, sweet and beautiful. can't help to want more.

the only time popular mangaka watase yuu made BL and its heart wretching kind. setting in historical era, it contains heavy angst and deafening suspense. the MC is a servant in a large aristocrat family home headed by a troubled and beautiful young master ML. fate and family secrets made their relationship complicated and painful to watch. this story isn't for the weak.

underrated edgy 1976 BL by the legendary father of manga, Tezuka Osamu. extremely provocative and thought provoking story involving a sinned priest Gurai and evil twisted criminal Yuki. it has everything from action, mystery, romance and revenge in the most evil way. its extremely engaging and thrilling. although the artwork is not for everyone bc of its vintage style, it doesn't hinder from the actual enjoyment for the story itself.

the most popular bl series in cn. everything from world building, character, relationship, romance, war and intrigues blended perfectly. although i would say the artwork is more simplistic than the donghua and many scene cut short from the actual novel, it still very much a comprehensive story to enjoy.

used to be underrated for 20+ years. there's barely any actual romance compared to how many volumes it has tbh but that's the diamond in the story. Ash is unfortunate thorough his life.

don't be distracted bc they're bald. its the artwork and the conclusion of the story for me. it made you sympathize with what happen there even until now. not a happy ending and I'm crying.
