BL Shoujo esque (Artstyle/Storyline)

This one is the definition of shoujo romance. The mangaka is a shoujo artist, drawing BL for the first time.

The first time I read this, I was shocked because I never would've thought a "very shoujo art style and story" turn out to be BL. As someone who read wayyy to many shoujo romance when they're young, accustomed to the shoujo art style (big eyes female mc, male mc almost have similar hairstyles) it is an interesting discovery.

both the art and plot very shoujo centric. though both mc and ml is of similar build, (if this is shoujo, feel as if ml and 2nd ml get together lol) the mangaka past work is shoujo, so its not surprising that alot of influence in this bl (also first bl by mangaka). this is also the ONLY BL serialize in shoujo magazine (bessatsu friend), which is very surprising to me, and a bold move from the publisher.
