#1 : This is self-indulgence kind of reading at this point. It covers a lot of topics that no story would never pray to touch. Especially, with the priest part (i forgot the name); its like seeing the antagonist of The Da Vinci code, but make him a priest. I am heavily inspired to write by this manhwa, no kidding. I love it like my own husband.
Though I am skeptical of putting this on the top, but I believe— this manhwa deserves it for the thought-provoking topics it presented.
#2 : can't believe I am reading this. But jesus, this one really tops all of the serial killers out there. His moral and indignity, his beliefs of becoming pure for the sake of his friend. I won't call this man inherently... psychopathic. More like sociopathic. And what makes this perfect is the fact he plays with the morals, and the issues, we humans, often face. By play, what do I mean by that? He gives this sense of sophistication, making you feel empathy on his actions.
#3 : Everything is impeccable. From the acting, to the lines, to the characters— like I somehow feel like I am watching there, like the scenes are unfolding right before me without any of my senses realizing it. The artstyle did improve, and the characters; the way they portray their roles are purely spectacular. You could see the difference, hell, even a toddler knows they're different. This story gives a different to the word 'acting'.
#4 : Debut or Die. I've seen the premise of the novel. And I think, it touched the entertainment industry quite well. It is like The Network, a satire film, but make it an idol manhwa with a system freak? I know, comparinh it to an award winning movie is beyond exaggeration, but believe me when I say it kind of is like that while showing the blood of the said industry. Allegorically speaking, the characters are well-presented, and does not feel kind of forced.
#5 : Double suicide is his dream, like Osamu Dazai. But bro, how different they are. I love this because of his nature as a writer. I won't call him picky, but he is like a journalist handpicking a story that sells, in a way. Allegorically, he wouldn't fairly write boring stories, everything has meaning on it, and that what makes it beautiful. A meaningless story is a reflection of a storyteller's perception in life. Dear, how beautiful is life that you stain it with impuritie
#6 : Self-indulgence. However, I believe it still is thought provoking. Comparing it to #2, this truly demonstrate how much montrosity a psychopath could do. Morality, does not exist to them? Not really, you're stereotyping, my dear friend. This fellow in this manga feels human. A psychopath isn't an alien, they're like people with a different brain chemistry. And can you blame them for that? This story somehow shows the brief curiosity, of a question. Despite not feeling anyt
#7 : It took a lot to not put it in #1 spot as soon as I created this list. There is really nothing on it, just the feels, and how a person's feeling can blossom. This is self-indulgence. And in spite of being spicy, almost running without plot, the emotions of the characters are still raw. I somehow wish to be able to write such a chemistry like this one day. It deserves the spot in the number 7, where lucky things happen lol.
#8 : This is an anthology that fills you up with dread and joy, then sprinkled with grief and mirth. The stories are short making it a quick and easy read, but the ability of the author to show a story within a few panels are beyond amazing. Every story stands on its own, without a fail, of course. Escpecially, chapter 5. The line is vague, but I believe its— "its the start of a love story, and the start of a heartbreak.". You'll see.
